Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®

We have not used any RUN HR features, we are a small business and dont need any of those features.
We use RUN for our company's payroll, as well as all add-ons that come with that. Such as pay increases, bonuses, keeping track of PTO and yearly anniversary's. We often use the reports provided to send to our CPA's for their review and keep track of payroll better. I do not see any problems.

  • No improvements needed, as we are still new to RUN Powered by ADP
  • We are still new, so hard to tell but once we have been with the company for a year or so I think we would better be able to gauge the impact whether thats positive or negative.
The ability to navigate it easily
Yes, the website is easy to navigate and with the automatic features helps so I am not having to manually enter items in while looking for them on past or current documents.

Well suited for I believe any business size, we are a small business with only 6 employees and our representatives that have helped have been amazing. I am sure it's the same for any size business.

Using RUN Powered by ADP®

6 - Well we have 6 employees they all have the app on their phone including myself and are able to manage there information and make changes to personal information as needed and check their pay, reductions and time off used. I use RUN to complete payroll, pull reports and stay in touch with current laws and restrictions.
2 - The owner of the business and myself are the two who support RUN Powered by ADP. We both are familiar with the requirements of our company in regard to pay, bonuses, overtime, holiday pay etc. We both also know how to submit payroll and navigate the website to do so.

I enjoy using it and all they have to offer. I think that it's easy to use and learn as a new user. The staff is helpful in answering any questions you may have and the ADP Advisory Circle is a huge bonus allowing me to stay in the loop with new laws as well as giving my brain a rest whilst at work with some of the coffee break activities.

Evaluating RUN Powered by ADP® and Competitors

Yes - We ran our payroll through PayChex, we thought it was time for a change and liked what the sale representative brought to us. We also changed for the discount and ability to be around people with great customer service. We are so happy with our change and satisfied with everything told to us being fulfilled.
  • Ease of Use
Ease of use and honestly just customer service over all. At patches we had them for five plus years and we were never contacted asking about our satisfaction, we were never put in touch with our own agent or person to help when we needed guidance. The all around support we have received from ADP has been astonishing, night and day difference.
I am not sure as I am not the person who ultimately made the choice to switch from PayChex to ADP. I think the process in which the 401k of our employees being transferred over could have been quicker, but im also not completely sure if that's all up to ADP or if its 401k (Government related)

We did not have in-person training
Our rep was on a zoom with us and one other person from RUN ADP showing us the layout and how to access everything. we mainly use it for payroll and reports so any questions we had they both were insightful and able to help us navigate the site. The training process was a success and we have had any issues since using.

Configuring RUN Powered by ADP®

Limited, I don't think you're able to change the lay out on the desktop online version. If there was an option to edit the lay out or even colors I think that would be cool. Maybe favorite the most used things that you use so its right there a single click away.
I do not, I think just a customization section would be nice to have but is not necessary.

I did no customization, I didnt know you were able to do so. It definitely will be something that I look into, if it's available to do we will most defiantly use it and take advantage.

When our company switched to ADP instead of our old payroll company which was PayChex we had to transfer over our employees 401k. Although this was a lengthy process, our rep never stopped giving us updates on the progress and if we have any follow up questions she was always happy to help. The transition period from one company to another was pretty easy as she input the information for us.
As stated in the last question the support is top notch, from the transitioning from our previous payroll provider to the ADP. To the transition of our employees 401k, which took a while but the staff and our rep was very supportive and informative on the situation at hand. We had trouble with employees hours used for PTO and our rep was able to help within 24 hours of asking the question and found us a solution!

Maybe because I am a younger user I find it very easy to use and navigate. The website for desktop has a user friendly lay out and pretty cut and dry when you are looking for something it's all payed out in front of you. Even a person that isn't "tech savvy" I think would be able to use the desktop version.

RUN Powered by ADP® Reliability

I am unfamiliar with the scalable software that can be deployed across multiple software, and we would not use it though. We try to keep our software all separate from one another.
I don't think I have ever encountered error codes or 404 error screens when trying to access RUN ADP. I run payroll for the company every other week and I have had no issues accessing the website, everything saves and updates when it's needed. Our employees use the app on their phones and they have not had any issues either other than just a basic update of the app occasionally.
Everything runs smoothly and quickly I have no complaints whats so ever!

Relationship with ADP

I think the vender was helpful with the process and guaranteed that our discount for signing up was applied and explained the process of the discount being spread through the months over a year period and not all at once.
Our rep is still easy to get ahold of and able to assist us in anything we need. We were our persons first client so that is nice knowing she'll always have our back and be helpful in anything we need as well as us recommending people to switch and give her grace and a recommendation on who to deal with.
