Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We using Sage Intacct for all accounting needs including but not limited to AP, AR, invoicing, Reporting, Purchasing. Along with the out of the box solutions, we also use third party applications for Intacct such as Armatic for AR collections automations, 2CP for payments, and Expense connect for Concur integration.

Pros

Cons

  • Automation of invoice delivery.
  • Lack of training articles.
  • Revenue management.
  • Built in payments solution.
While the out of the box solution makes it easier to do certain tasks, it also lacks features that you would think should be included. Revenue management is a challenge for us since you can't set up a revenue schedule and rely on it to work properly. We've had a ticket with Intacct Support for over half a year and it's still not revolved. There also is no automation for invoice delivery. We have to purchase a plugin to accomplish such a task.
I have not had any experience with these modules.
Intacct was implemented by a third party vendor. I was not involved with it as it happened early during the inception of Relias.

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Sage Intacct is great for Saas companies. Invoicing is easy. Multi entity set up is intuitive. Its customization is easy to understand. There are many different ways to achieve one objective with Intacct. It is lacking training resources, however. Their training site is very outdated as the articles and training videos have not been updated in a long time. I find it's better to ask colleagues for answers as their support cue and team is terrible at resolving issues in a timely manner.

COVID-19 Updates & Changes

Armatic - for AR collections automations. It's not a very good product as we constantly get syncing issues. They also don't have a Salesforce integration.
2CP - serves the purpose for payment gateway and recurring billing.
Expense Connect - integration Concur expense data to Intacct. Works well.
FloQast - the Accounting seems to like FloQast for month close.
