Multi-entity/global consolidation has very efficiently reduced our quarterly close and the resulting consolidation of 3 different global entities. It has sped up the process by at least 3 days each quarter.
- SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and QuickBooks Desktop Premier
BPC is more robust and supportive of a larger organization, while QuickBooks is very easy to use and adaptable but does not contain the features or controls necessary for a public company.
