Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is being used to consolidate across 6 different countries. It is also used to manage over 200 restricted funds within each country. It helps in consolidating over multi currency accounts. It allows for each individual entity (country) to use and produce reports. In addition the consolidated reports can be produced to use as those are needed. These are each different types of reporting.
  • Reporting based on many dimensions.
  • Handling of multi currency.
  • Ability to access a cloud based system from anywhere.
  • Setting up of reporting can be an issue.
  • Tracking entries that did not use proper dimensions.
  • Reports when exported to excel do not include the formulas.
  • It has streamlined some of the processes.
  • It has allowed different people to access from various places.
  • Reporting has allowed for changes in process to save time.
We have not due to the changes that have to be done after entry. It is harder to change coding when using an automated system. Client needs to understand to make changes before being entered vs after.
Global consolidations is used and works to help have one international system. It is helpful to have each entity use the same codings and same system even is the process is slightly different.
Used a vendor to thelp. It was good as there were 5 different countries that needed to abide by different laws.

Sage Inacct allows for more dimension reports. It allows for multi currency. It also allows for various users to only have certain access. The security is a big issue since it is cloud based.
Sage Intacct is well suited when you have multiple people needing to access from multiple locations. It is very helpful especially when over multiple time zones. It is less appropriate for those that do not have a basic accounting background. The usability of the wording on tasks is more accounting language.

Fund balances are easily figured out. User friendly.

Anytime a ticket is submitted we do receive timely response.
Sage support is great. From the learning center to the Sage Intacct Community you can usually find an answer. If the answer is not there you can file a ticket and usually have an answer within 24 hours.

Using Sage Intacct

  • Finding what accounts are missing a dimension
This rating is not at a 10 as there are some people that have an issue with the processing. It seems to be understanding in the steps that are not clearly marked as step one, two, etc for those that do not have a good accounting background. The payables process has been the main issue. However, the usability for the rest of the system has been good and has allowed for reports to get out timely and accurately.
