Our organization has tremendously benefited from the automation of fundamental financial procedures in Sage Intacct. The automation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger has optimized our processes, decreasing human data entry errors by more than 25%. Our month-end close was completed 40% faster.
The multi-entity module has streamlined our financial reporting across subsidiaries. It has also allowed us to integrate data in real-time and reduce the time required for monthly closing. As a result, our capacity to make strategic decisions based on precise, current information has increased.
While we managed to set up certain fundamental elements ourselves, we relied extensively on Sage Intacct’s help for more complicated configurations, especially for multi-entity consolidations and project accounting. The seller was supportive during the setup process, offering thorough instructions and one-on-one advice.
We chose Sage Intacct over Excel, SAP Concur, or Zoho Books because of its robust financial capabilities and scalability. Excel is prone to manual errors, but Sage Intacct provides the automation and real-time data integration required for multi-part consolidations.SAP Concur does a great job of expense management but lacks comprehensive financial features. At the same time, Zoho Books, while user-friendly, doesn’t support the advanced features needed for project tracking and entity management. Overall, Sage Intacct is a great fit for our growth strategy and demanding financial requirements.

Sage is an excellent choice for organizations with numerous entities because it provides smooth financial aggregation. It is also a good fit for project-based enterprises that require real-time budget and spending management. Automated workflows for recording donations benefit nonprofits, while mid-sized businesses like configurable financial reports. However, because of its complexity and expense, it might not be the best option for small enterprises with simple accounting needs.
