Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic

It is used as Domain Manager for all network devices onboarding/provisioning, Monitoring and Finally ticketing on the monitored devices in the case of fault occurrence in the device.
  • Single, thin UI Interface to see - all functions like events, tickets, devices organizations, system settings/debug/monitor make it very handy for quick initial troubleshooting.
  • KPI Pooling, Well exposed API's to further integrate with other interfaces (North/South bound).
  • Not highly scalable to handle 100K devices. Polling huge key performance indicators across device(s).
  • Handling lots of events bombarding the system at the same time with appropriate correlation.
  • DRBD Database clustering is not extremely fault-tolerant , reliable, or self-healing which is key for EM7 to function.
  • It achieves the objective of providing a monitoring platform for business continuity and IT operations.
  • Only negative impact to handling a highly large customers having huge network elements.
Yes - We had Proactive Network Operation Centre earlier which is replaced with ScienceLogic
A great type of device, the type of technology it handles, real-time operational readiness is the key for visibility.
Yes, ScienceLogic integrates with ServiceNow (SNOW) using Integration Server (IS4) which really enhances ITSM/ITIL-compliant with ticketing.
Device on-boarding/Monitoring, Event Correlations, and Device Sync
  • Single Domain Manager to handle all kinds of devices spanning across technologies.
Cisco Prime Products , Infovista (performance)
For enterprise customers with small scale requirements in terms of Eventing/Alerting/Monitoring.
