Account on Screen Connect (referring to using it in Accounting industry)
Overall Satisfaction with ScreenConnect
I use it internally and externally. Internally, I use it to connect to my employees' computers to assist them on tasks they can't figure out. My workforce is remote, working from home, so this works great. Also, I use it to share my screen and do training with them. Externally, I use it to do QuickBooks consulting. I will connect to a client's computer to help them with QuickBooks or to share my screen and show them how to do something in QuickBooks.
Pros
- The price for the service matches the value I receive.
- It's easy to launch.
Cons
- My screen connect with certain people has been slow. Even though I know that me and the othersides up/download speed is very fast.
- There was a sales guy that kept calling me asking me about my trial of screen connect long after I paid for a year of service. It was as if he didn't know I signed up.
- Saves me money by giving me a tool to make having a remote workforce more possible.
- Client satisfaction has increased because I can assist my client's any time of day and fix their problem quickly.
They have a large company, Citrix, backing them and that could be perceived as better in certain eyes. However, I felt that the price for what I got with Screen Connect was a better value and it pretty much worked the same. The graphical user interface of GoToAssist might be a little prettier but that doesn't make a difference to me.
