Overall Satisfaction with Sendoso

We have eight sales teams using Sendoso to send our own branded swag and Sendoso swag. We brought Sendoso into our company so that we could offload the packaging of endless swag boxes. It freed up our employees to focus on higher-level and more important projects.

Pros

  • Address confirmation of the recipient
  • Very responsive on their chat bot
  • Customer service on the chat bot is cheerful, helpful, and efficient

Cons

  • There is no dashboard or analytics to show exactly how fast you're moving through your own branded inventory. Having that data would help in reordering the inventory.
  • The analytics could dial down into specific items within a send (e.g., I'd like to see how fast we're going through our company brochures, but there's no way for me to look at just that item).
  • They allow themselves 3-5 business days to stock the inventory in their warehouse once it's delivered. So basically add another week to your restocking timeline. This is ridiculously long.
  • If you send a box of your own branded swag to the warehouse (or your manufacturer does) and it doesn't have the attached shipping notice on the box, you have to beg the warehouse to get it shelved. The shipping notices are too specific and add extra cumbersome steps that manufacturers could care less about.
  • We onboarded in April and May of 2020. It was piecemeal, choppy, and lacked any standard process. I am good at asking lots of questions, so I learned about a lot of features and capabilities simply by continuing to drill down in my questions. But, had I not asked questions, many features, tips, or systems would not have been offered to me.
  • We haven't seen any ROI yet because the pick/pack cost and the international shipping costs are so high. We're hoping to by the time our renewal comes up in April.
Haven't used any other swag vendor.

It is well suited for e-gift cards, and Amazon sends. It's not as nimble or easy to use it for your own branded swag because their pick/pack costs are so high and their warehouse takes so long to stock your inventory after it's been delivered to their warehouse.
