Overall Satisfaction with Slack
Slack is used by all of our engineers to coordinate work flow, discussions and maintain code repositories. It is integral to how we do our work.
- Slack channels helps everyone prioritize and organize work
- Integrations with a lot of useful third party softwares like github
- High quality software. They update often. I have not yet seen any annoying errors in it
- Intuitive for any level of users
- Image upload is slow. Especially when you have to upload multiple images and have to select them one by one.
- Communication became quick and effective
- Increased productivity as channels and integrations make this very powerful to get work done
- The fun factor can lead to longer chats although help build team spirit :P
Slack is more fun and the integrations and channels more it more sophisticated.
