Overall Satisfaction with Slack
It was a nightmare before when coordinating software delivery teams within the organization. However, after we adopted Slack our software delivery teams got a very reliable collaboration tool. With this software, different teams can work together across geographic boundaries without limitations. It has also been integrated into our workflow and development pipeline to ensure smooth flow of communication. Project management teams remain on the same page all through the period of project execution courtesy of Slack.

- Sometimes it brings too many notifications which are annoying
- The use of emojis and GIFs makes it informal
- It has made collaboration in the organization to be significantly easier
- It is easier to communicate with external teams
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
Group collaboration and communication with Slack is a far superior solution to any business organization. It is extremely easy to use and adoption of the service is simple. With the alternatives, when we trialed them we found it harder to gain traction amongst our technical teams.
