Pros

Channels allow focussed interactions
Channels maintain a history of interactions and shared resources
Is a much better project communication tool than email

Cons

The "catch up" feature on mobile would be good to have on desktop. We need to see what we've missed in one place.
Would like to see better alignment between mobil and desktop apps. We all use both.

Return on Investment

Senior management team has good visibility into project productivity.
Saves management time, particularly when managing multiple projects.

Usability

Very good, but could be better. It seems new features are well thought out and moving the usability in the right direction.

monday dev and Trello

Slack's flexibility vs usability is well balanced. Slack does not require a time-sonsuming setup.
