Slack is used in our organization as a primary communication tool, helping us with seamless interaction among teams and internal departments. It helps us eliminate lengthy email chains and provides instant messaging for quick decision making. Slack channels helps keeping discussions organized by project, department or topic. Its integration with tools like Google drive ensures quick access to documents and resources.

- Slack channels allows team to create dedicated spaces for project specific topics. Eg. Our support team has a support channel where all the client issues are posted.
- Slack also enables both instant messaging for urgent matters. Eg. It improves collaboration for our hybrid and remote teams.
- Slack connects seamlessly with other business tools like Google Drive, Jira and Salesforce.
Cons
- While Slack threads help keeps our channels organized at time they can also be hard to follow.
- Slack search function is good however it can be difficult to filter results effectively especially in large workspaces.
- Slack support only basic formatting like Bold, italic but lacks options like highlighting and tables.
- Slack has helped our organization increased Productivity and reduced email overload

More intuitive and user friendly interface. It has better third party integrations with Google Drive, Jira etc. Slack is designed for professional teams rather than gaming or casual communities. Better organization with channels, tread and workspaces. It has more of business focused integrations. It has more feature rick messaging. Also has a better third party app support.
