Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

Splashtop helps us to help our Users by providing remote screensharing support for training, consultancy, installing software and general day-to-day queries. It is used across our organisation ad-hoc when Users call in or when we have pre-booked meetings for software installations, etc.

Pros

  • Splashtop was easy for us to implement internally
  • And it's easy for our Users to connect up
  • The option to customise the end user download is also a nice touch to enforce our brand and encourage trust from our customers

Cons

  • For what we use it for, I honestly can't think of one...
  • It's cost less than half the price of a the competitive solution we previously used
  • Instead of sharing licenses, we now all have a license to provide immediate support to customers when required
To be honest we haven't had any issues with Splashtop to warrant contacting technical support. The sales support was super-quick though and the people we interacted with over email and chat extremely knowledgeable and answered queries very quickly.
The solution provides all of the functionality we require when interacting day-to-day with our customers. Unfortunately I'm not qualified to comment on the robustness of the security, so can't comment there.
Within an hour - really very straightforward.
Yes - TeamViewer - expensive and contained functionality we really didn't need from a screensharing solution.
