Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

Splashtop is used by my department but in several capacities. It allows me to work remotely when an urgent need arises, but i have also worked an entire day remotely. I use it several times a week at a minumum from my smartphone, tablet and/or computer. I initially purchased it for use during COVID but found it to be very valuable so I have continued using it.

Pros

  • Remote access
  • Remote printing
  • The cost is very reasonable

Cons

  • I would like an easier way of switching between two monitors, or an option to utilize only one monitor if I am on a system with one screen. Maybe this is possible already and I dont know!

I give it a 10 because I have never needed support!
I think the two-factor authentication is extremely important and is easy to use.
It was incredibly easy to get started with! Honestly, it was perfect!
Yes - It replaced TeamViewer, we had a trial but the cost was way too much for what we use it for.

Well suited for most remote work, especially from a computer. However, the mobile version works amazingly well. While it is more difficult to use on a smartphone, that is a limitation on the device. It really is impressive at how well the app works.
