Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used Splashtop for the past 8 years as our businesses main remote support and device monitoring service. Splashtop has been consistently reliable and meeting all of our needs from RMM software. We have used other RMM tools in the past but Splashtop has been our favorite and we have no need or want to look elsewhere for any other system.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Reliability - Always up and functioning
Security - Having Splashtop scan systems for malware and alerting if anything is found.

Cons

Id love to have Splashtop SOS offer agent control of iOS devices instead of just screen sharing.

Return on Investment

I have 6 remote offices all over the western USA. Splashtop allows me to remotely support all those devices from one central location, saving me hours of driving just to provide simple to complex support.

Support Rating

I have never needed Splashtop support but if I did, id imagine its as helpful and simple as our experience with Splashtop has been.

Splashtop Security

Splashtop remote access and support is a must have for our IT Dept to provide quick and concise support to all of our users spread all over the country. I appreciate Splashtops two factor authentication as it becomes the new normal, and that Splashtop is constantly upgrading to keep our connections safe and encrypted.

Onboarding with Splashtop

This was over 8 years ago we moved to Splashtop, so I do not remember alot of the onboarding details, but I do not remember any hiccups or pain points either so that must be a good thing. Deployment is simple with a quick install package on each machine we quickly had remote access.

Products Replaced

Yes - LogMeIn - We were frustrated with some of the limited feature sets at the time along with the ongoing price increases when many other companies were offering more for the money. After many independent reviews and colleagues recommending Splashtop we made the change and have been very happy since then.

Likelihood to Recommend

Remote access and monitoring of devices, including mobile. I love that we have unattended access to Android devices for remote phone updates and problem solving. Splashtop does a great job of giving users remote access to specific machines so we can give our users remote access without some negative side affects of a VPN.
