Splashtop is a huge timesaver for remote support
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
Supporting remote users is tough, but Splashtop makes it so much easier to assist them. The additional tools, such as file transfer and multi-screen support, are seamless and invaluable. I can highly recommend this product and use it for both local and remote users.
I have deployment packages that automatically add devices to groups. The ability to support ad-hoc users via the SOS site is a huge benefit as well.
The product is stable, reliable, secure, and uses little resources.
I've used other products, and this is by far the best support tool I've use for remote user support.

Pros
- Fantastic multi-screen support - either individually or combined across local mult-screens.
- Great add-on tools such as file transfer make it easy to send & recieve files
- Perforcance if great, even with minimal internet connections
Cons
- Add machine sorts by OS
- View event logs in base product
- This has significantly reduced troubleshooting time by being able to see and control the endpoint.
I believe the security tools are great, and I also use a separate connection password as an additional level of protection.
Onboarding is seamless - user installs agent, and I'm able to connect. SOS is also extremely easy and clear for the user to install and allow connection.
Yes - Solarwinds Dameware - Dameware is great for local users, but not nearly as easy for remote user deployment.
