Splashtop
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
A tool to provide 'remote' access & support
Pros
- The ability to remote whether on vpn, not on VPN, or on location\intranet.
- Support for both Mac, & Windows
- The convenient buttons on the top of the "ctrl-alt-del, disc, next monitor, etc.)
Cons
- Hate the Splashtop screen that initially comes up to let you know you have successfully connected. It always 'gets in the way' have to close it out every time i sign into Splashtop for the first time.
- While in App, no way to remotely request access from Splashtop admin while in the app to a node not listed on your.
- Limited ability & flexibility to organize\customize nodes by the user of Splashtop. Any grouping is at the corporate level which causes friction.
- The to provide quicker support faster remotely. Hard to put a price tag on that.
I support these features as long as the implementation of them are easy to setup and user friendly.
