Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
It is used to help the researchers doing and monitoring their experiments remotely. It is widely used in our research facility.
Pros
- Remote monitoring of experiments
- Remote analysis
- Remote maintenance of computers
Cons
- the software freezes frequently, if we forgot to sign out from the other computer.
- Sometimes face difficulty communicating with the other side of the computer without apparently no reasons.
- Wake up function or seamless communication with the other computer could be improved.
- It is helping us superbly.
- It can easily save us a couple of hours of our time in every weeks.
Excellent.
Robustness, as I mentioned is sometimes below our expectation. As mentioned, we have some apparent connection issue with the computer appraently for no specific reasons (computers are always connected to internet through ethernet).
Very quickly.
A video support to describe and simplify the whole process would be great. May be the video is already available. But I have not seen it or was not easily noticeable in the website.
