Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
It's been used to support our users and remote connect to their computers and help them with any issue that they may have. Currently, the IT Department uses it on a daily basis, but other departments can use it to support remote workers. The software works great and provides great visibility, and gives us a way to rapidly respond and solve users' issues and requests.
Pros
- Remote connection
- Fast screen refresh
- Ability to transfer files
- Separating the users computers in groups
- The authentication seems really strong
Cons
- SOS should have concurrency instead of assigned technician
- Allowing to remote into users computers save us a lot of time and money.
- We can remote into multiple users at the time, which makes it faster when you have to check multiple situations, and while you wait for something on one computer, you can solve another.
The platform is very robust and provides good security with the inclusion of two-factor authentication. It also has validation and encryption.
Onboarding was really fast. In our case, we were using another product, and it began to be more difficult to work with, so we decided to give Splashtop Enterprise a try, and we were in love with it. We were able to uninstall and install the new one very easily.
Yes - We used to have Logmein. Logmein was doing fine for us, but all of a sudden, they began to change how they price it and forced us into getting their more expensive option for using just the basic functionality. At some point, they tripled our price with no apparent reason, so we looked for a comparable product and found out about Splashtop Enterprise, and we decided to replace it.
