Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

We are using Splashtop Enterprise remote access to enable connection to work computers when away from the office and for technical support when needed. It is easy to install and maintain for all users, and from a management perspective, it is easy to organize into groups to easily find what you are looking for in the list.
  • User interface
  • Web and program management options
  • Easy to implement with downloadable installation package invitations
  • I don't know of any other options at this time
  • The updates seem to be regular and go on in the background
  • I would recommend for anyone looking for a remote access solution
  • Reduced cost from previous product
  • Made it easy to access for users
  • Peace of mind knowing I can reach my work computer anytime should the need arise
I've never had any issues with support. Since the original installation, everything has worked well. I did email one time about billing questions, and it was answered promptly and thoroughly. I am confident the support is there should any issue arise either on the management side of the remote user side of the utility.
Splashtop Enterprise is far and above our previous remote access utility. They provide options I didn't even know I might need. I have not been able to utilize all functions of Splashtop Enterprise, but just knowing that there are more options, should the need arise, provides peace of mind. I look forward to new functionality in the future.
I have installed the remote client in many different ways for computers that need to be accessed remotely. The web-based management console makes it easy to add new computers, and even if you cannot physically be at the workstation, you can easily walk someone else through a successful installation using the online tools.
Yes - Remote Desktop was replaced by Splashtop Enterprise due to rising costs and loss in functionality compared to Splashtop Enterprise. When we evaluated what we wanted to be able to do and the price difference, it was an easy decision to go with Splashtop Enterprise to take care of our needs. I still believe we made the correct decision.

Splashtop Enterprise could be used in a variety of settings. Technical support, remote workstation access, and many more. It will not work as well for "online meetings" since it is primarily one-way access, but I have found it useful for some collaboration scenarios when we could talk on the phone to communicate about what was taking place on the screen.
