Splashtop is an easy to use, affordable alternative to Logmein

I use it to support many clients. I install the app on machines I support regularly. And I use the SOS emergency link to support one-off clients. I also give clients user accounts so they can access their machines remotely. I find the emergency SOS to be easy for clients to run and give me the code. And I find the installed app is pretty reliable and is a lot simpler and easier to use than Logmein and it's not as expensive. My only complaint is it doesn't let me have multiple monitors at once. You have to toggle between them in one window. With a higher paid plan you can have them as two separate windows.

I think it's pretty secure, but I don't really have any deep insight into that. It uses 2FA and lets you say that your computer will regularly use it and then you don't have to reauthenticate with 2FA as often.

I have used Logmein so I knew mostly what to expect. I got up and ran on my own pretty easily. The user groups and deployment packages took a little time to understand but once you've installed it on a few machines it becomes easy. I initially went with it for the price but I do find it less complex vs Logmein which is a nice bonus.
