Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

I use it since I've begun working from home to support my business clients whose employees are also working from home.
  • Remove desktop works through NAT routers.
  • It's easy to deploy.
  • Reasonable cost.
  • Use of the "code" gives end-users control over who gets access to their computer.
  • Most of my Macintosh clients are VERY low-tech, (seniors), and the additional security steps required to give Splashtop full control are cumbersome.
  • It would be nice if Splashtop would automatically detect a change in the computer name and make the change in Splashtop too when a device is deployed.
  • It allows me to do computer troubleshooting for senior citizens in senior living situations that were closed to outsiders during the pandemic.
  • It saves us a lot of travel time by being able to reboot computers remotely.
I've never had to call support.
The two-factor authentication is very comforting to my users allowing them control over who gets access to their computer remotely. Honestly, I've not looked into what encryption is used, so I couldn't speak to its robustness.
I create a deployment package (MSI file) that is executed when we onboard new Windows computers. There is one confirmation prompt at the end of the quick installation process and that's it. Easy-Peasy. Mac computers require a few security adjustments in System Preferences post-installation, but it's easy for technically inclined people.
