Overall Satisfaction with Squarespace
We used SquareSpace at my previous job as our web solution for a small tech startup. Today, I use it for my band's website. It's a great solution for smaller organizations with limited time to futz with customization options to get a beautiful, mobile-friendly site up and running, fast.
- Easy to adjust CSS with a drag & drop interface.
- Healthy number of plugins that are ready to go as soon as you dive in - little to no configuration needed.
- Easy, drag & drop page layouts.
- Excellent security and uptime.
- There's a bit of a learning curve for how to get around the software and figure out where to find certain things.
- Sometimes the left nav disappears and I have no idea why.
- I've managed to break the top-level nav and couldn't figure out why or how to fix it.
- Less time spent setting up a website before we can launch.
- We have one of the most professional-looking band websites around without having to pay someone else to do it for us.
- We can set up dynamic content easily so the site looks fresh.
