Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TeamViewer is one of those rare tools that you want to take with you everywhere once you start using it. It has improved response times for the company, since we can access the servers remotely or provide support to users from anywhere, since TeamViewer is compatible with the different operating systems and mobile devices on the market.

Pros and Cons

Remote connection to any fixed or mobile device.
Very fluid remote access, also allows you to configure the quality of it to take advantage of your connection and improve the experience

Sometimes the updates make the versions obsolete in the client, preventing us from connecting.
We would like to see a more native version in Linux

Return on Investment

The return on the investment is remarkable in terms of the welfare of the company
It allows us to keep our software updated and perform preventive or corrective maintenance on time from anywhere.

Alternatives Considered

VNC Connect

TeamViewer provides many more tools that complement the remote access being easier to install and configure. In addition the remote connection is much more fluid and supports more devices and operating systems

Likelihood to Recommend

TeamViewer has been growing and adding new functionalities by the day, and in my opinion it is the best tool for remote access. We love being able to use in different scenes, as well as to support our users, clients, or our PC at home. An option that works well, but could be improved, is the connection via VPN. Allowing an automatic connection would make it more practical for daily use.
