Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

We use it for IT to remote into users machines having technical difficulties.
  • Unattended access to PC's.
  • Transferring files.
  • Multi-monitor support.
  • Backwards compatibility of TV versions.
  • Finding previous versions of TV to match versions.
  • Our existing desktop version of TV has served us well over many years.
  • Ease of use for users to operate.
  • Only internet versions are currently available for purchase.
We've used MSP360's Remote Desktop and Quick Assist. TeamViewer is our tool of choice to remote to users machines both attended and unattended.

Do you think TeamViewer delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with TeamViewer's feature set?

Yes

Did TeamViewer live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of TeamViewer go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy TeamViewer again?

Yes

We have the desktop version of TV which is a simple install as long has you have the correct version purchased. If versions are out of sync they can be more difficult to manage. The internet version of TV eliminates this issue.
We are looking to using the internet version of TeamViewer in the near future. We have not used these features for remoting to machines as we've relied on MS security measures in place.
TeamViewer works well for unattended access. It is to easy for users to inadvertently update TeamViewer versions. Backwards compatibility between TV versions can be a challenge.
