Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
We are a totally remote-based business so being able to provide support to our employees when they need it is vital. By using Team Viewer we are able to view our employee's devices/screens and provide them with remote troubleshooting/resolve issues they may be having with their device. Without TeamViewer (in the worst-case scenario) this would involve us either having to drive to meet the employee or them having to send us the laptop back.
- Remote Support
- Asset Management
- Remote Monitoring
- Make SSO available to all plans
- Send audit logs (of people using Team Viewer) to an external service.
- Conditional access would be great (only allow access from IP Address).
- Big time saving for resolving internal user issues.
- Don't need to have physical access to the device - saved travel costs.
- Standardisation on a single tool for remote support.
We did a brief trial of Go To Assist and divided upon Team Viewer as we felt that it had a slightly richer feature set. We also preferred the UI/UX of Team Viewer in comparison to Go To Assist. In terms of pricing, this was pretty much similar to both products.

Would you buy TeamViewer again?
Yes
It was really easy for us to get setup with Team Viewer. We just downloaded the appropriate file from their downloads page and installed on the target device.
Then it was a case of testing out the access and moving on to the next device. Really simple, really straight forward - didn't need to speak with anyone from Team Viewer to achieve this either.
We have implemented MFA authentication. Team Viewer also alerts us when the user is accessing from a device/browser that isn't trusted which is a handy security feature. Our plan doesn't currently include Single Sign On. SOC2 was something we liked as a part of our Vendor Risk Assessment process. HIPAA compliance wasn't something we needed for our business.
