Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

We occasionally use TeamViewer to assist staff that work remotely, and some edge cases where clients need help with financial products.
  • Remote Assistance
  • Pricing / billing
  • Customer portal
  • Customer support
  • Negative Return on Investment - it cost more than its worth
In past years there was little competition in the remote assistance market, TeamViewer was the only viable option. These days, Quick Assist, is included with Windows 11 for free. AnyDesk is as good as TeamViewer for a third of the price. If you're a bit tech savvy, you can setup Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection without too much trouble. Chrome Remote Desktop is completely free, and does the job as expected.

TeamViewer might be suited if your business is constant remote support. For any business that only wants to make occasional use of the product is is not good value for money.
