Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

Teamviewer is a highly reliable tool for supporting other computer and phone users. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, the ability to see what another person is seeing on their computer screen or phone and to guide their ability to correct a situation is vital. I use it especially to access my computers when I'm not in the same location. That way, all information on one computer (including the software in use) is available no matter where I'm located. I never find myself wishing it had any additional functionality and I'm pleased with how reliable it has remained during all my years of use.
  • Screen sharing
  • File copying
  • Video conferencing
  • As I said in my review, I've never needed a feature that Teamviewer didn't have
  • It just helps me help others quickly; it's not a ROI evaluation. It's about getting it done.
I've tried a few different ways to provide remote help over the many years I've been providing technical help (since 1987) and Teamviewer consistetly comes out the best. I've also tried numerous ways to access my own computer and data remotely and Teamviewer is the only one I consistently come back to.

Yes

I'm not in the business of providing computer support (sounds odd I know), but that doesn't stop others from relying on me for it. Any product that helps me get it done and off my plate is a valuable asset. It lets me get on with the rest of my life.
No, sorry this will end up being a very short answer.
When assisting a user with less technical experience, all I need to do is get the user to start Teamviewer and I can take over from there. I can describe what I'm doing or provide verbal assistance and watch as the user implements my instructions. It is far easier for me than either imagining what's on the user's screen or going to visit the user. It is far more successful for the other user than having to figure out how to describe what the user is seeing or waiting until I can visit.
