Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer debatably set the high bar for remote access, management, and asset support. I appreciate that over the years, TeamViewer has prioritized both IT Department and end-user requirements. We use this to remove all friction from the local and remote machine management, as well as one-off support request calls and tickets.
- Centralized environment for IT department
- User-friendly interface makes for quick adoption.
- Some reputation issues in the past left a sour taste. Systems are reliable, but accountability was lacking.
- Multiuser is still lacking. With remote teams at a peak, some problems require more than two parties for resolution.
- Quickly getting eyeballs on issues keeps my team in action, and my clients happy.
- Deploying TeamViewer to machines is a breeze.
Remote management is an easy win, and TeamViewer makes remote management easier.
- Apple Remote Desktop, LogMeIn Central by GoTo, Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan) and Chrome Remote Desktop
Ease of use. Speed of deployment.

Considering the risks that Remote Access software poses to corporations and private users alike, we are incredibly reliant on TeamViewer's security features, and trusting in their investments in InfoSec.
