I normally use TeamViewer for remote support. It is easy to use and allows taking control on PC or mobile. It is relatively safe and reliable. It allows spontaneous take over as well as saved and trusted clients for take over based on user logon. Most users easily provide access codes.

Better security, stack of features, much better user friendliness and so on and so forth. Also the mobile support is a good edge. They keep updating the product and securing it.
