Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
Remote support is a must have for our managed IT services to provide remote support to our clients and solving their problems quickly and easily. We utilize tools like TeamViewer to remotely access our client computers; whether they are at home or at any branch office. It saves travel time, which allows us to quickly and efficiently access their devices without meeting in person. With quick troubleshooting, IT team's productivity is improved greatly: meaning closing raised tickets fairly quickly, meeting our SLAs.
Pros
- TeamViewer is stable and works well, even with low internet speed.
- My non-technical clients can install this easy to use tool quickly and share their ID with me for support.
- Cross platform availability.
- Multiple session windows at a time.
- File Transfer capability.
Cons
- Limited session times for non-professional usage.
- Licensing cost is high.
- MFA with multiple options to choose from would be great.
- Its easy to download and install even for users with limited technological knowledge
- It is a well know tool in market so each user has probably heard of it and doesn't raise suspicion of false motive
- Tool is available for almost every platform out there
- It can support multiple session without affecting performance
- Saves travel time and cost
Almost instantaneously as the free tier, albeit with some restrictions, was fairly sufficient to support remote client base
TeamViewer is a go-to product for almost all newbies and smaller organizations, allowing multiple simultaneous connections and the ability to transfer files, letting you serve multiple clients at once.
