Treasure Data is being used as a tool to assimilate, stitch & unify the audiences (and related data) for a customer. This enriched data set is being used for driving marketing and re-targeting activities as well as fueling the machine learning use cases for calculating highly active audiences and /or high intent audiences.

Pros

  • Pre-Built Treasure Boxes for running simple ML use cases.
  • Query Engine.
  • Audience Profiling.

Cons

  • Tag Management Tool (likes of GTM or Adobe Launch) for Web Analytics Tagging.
  • A/B Testing Tool or extension.
  • ETL and Connectors.
  • Quantitative ones when we have shown marketing spend saving using suppressions.
  • Qualitative ones when we know the data unified can have lasting ROI impact using various ML use cases.
  • Driving Automation by building the Data as a service.
  • Next Best Action - Recommendation Engine to re-target.
  • Suppression of Similar Audiences.
Treasure Data has more customizations plus the cost factor.
Well Suited: Works very well in creating a 360 view of the customer. This unified view using omnichannel and multisource data helps in analysing customer behaviour really well and on the same platform.
