Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to keep marketing and art content organized, as well as for easy access to files specific to certain sprints. It is easy to communicate with team members and keep track of updates with those who are not always in office. Overall it serves as an organization and sprint management tool.

If there are a lot of cards, it can get a little messy -- maybe add a tab for all attached files

We selected Trello because it suited the project and work we were doing and our team was fairly small. It is a great tool overall, and probably has more ways of being used than how it was used with our marketing team. It definitely stacks up well with the competitors in terms of features, and I think its fun design makes it unique and interesting to look at (and use).

Likelihood to Recommend

I think the appropriateness mainly depends on the type of company and projects. It works well for teams that require a lot of collaboration. It would be ideal for companies that are designing apps/graphics (and most likely work using agile methodologies), as the visual organization and team collaboration aspects are strong in Trello. It would be less suited for non-tech companies.
