Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Generally takes days to get answers from HR specialists. And long wait times on the phone. But once connected, generally get good results.
We use Trinet as our PEO for our US division. Trinet handles all our payroll, benefits and HR.

Pros

  • Semi-monthly payroll is smooth -- no issues.
  • On boarding processes are relatively easy.
  • Benefits management is strong.

Cons

  • Would like to see more user-friendly platform.
  • Should be more integration options, for example with QuickBooks.
  • Need a way for [my] wife to log in to manage family benefits without giving my main admin password.
  • Has allowed us to completely outsource payroll and benefits
  • Has provided compliance information
  • Has made accounting complex with lack of integration
Trinet had good account rep/management although have not heard from them recently. Selected Trinet based on account team and reputation in industry.
Trinet is great for a complete PEO/payroll/benefits outsource. However not great in terms of ease-of-use and integration with accounting systems.
