Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
Trinet is our Payroll and Benefit provider. We use if for every payroll staff member, and we have people in over 5 states. WE moved for another PEO that had many issues that Trinet has solved for us: diverse medical/dental/visual insurance provider, PTO & Sick Time register by hours with employee and manager approval; app for istore and android. Of course the backoffice aspect is also a huge improvement, getting reports, payroll, individual employee information. Trinet lets every employee manage their profile, and it is not something that HR has to do and/or approve in every action.
- Phone app - staff members can request PTO & Sick time anytime from anywhere, and control their time. HR does not have to enter info manually.
- Reports - easy to read and download, for decision making or fact checking, financial and administrative. Easy to read and easy to download.
- Customer service - staff members can contact the TriNet representatives over the phone and have their issues resolved then and there.
- Corporate representative can take several days to come back with answers. Not always, but sometimes.
- When a service like TriNet is used in a company, we want to have more answers and more insight with legal issues like terminations or different vacations policies, and have a trustworthy advisor. Not someone that directs us to legal counsel.
- POSITIVE Reduce HR time spent on administrative tasks like record keeping for PTO & Sick.
- POSITIVE Review time between HR and Financial is over 4 work days, that gives time to make sure everything is taken care of.
- NEGATIVE I see there are a lot of features that we are not using, maybe we should get more information.
When I came in, it were the final 2 months with them. And the improvement is great. From how the app looks and feels, to the reports, easiness to talk to representatives, less mistakes in payrolls, can be reviewed at the same time. ADP was very basic, at least the app we were using, and was difficult to understand.
