Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

The TriNet team has been outstanding with their support of our HR processes. Our client services specialist is fantastic and very helpful and responsive. Being a small business, they have been a great resource for us. Our employees have used the employee solution center and the feedback I have received has been very positive. On the whole, I have been very happy with the website - it is the only reason I didn't give a 10 on the scale. There have been a few issues with the beta website, but nothing showstopping. One caveat - I have not used the payroll function on the new beta website yet. I have only used it on the legacy website.
I am on the website daily, usually multiple times a day. Overall, it is very functional, and I can access most information very quickly and efficiently. On the rare occasions I have had an issue, TriNet has been very responsive.
It is used across the whole organization, although I use TriNet the most. We use it for payroll, benefits, PTO, and HR.

Pros

  • On all of our touch-points with TriNet, we feel it serves us well. Payroll is smooth and efficient. Our employees are going through Open Enrollment for benefits currently, and the feedback has been very positive.
  • TriNet has been hugely helpful with the HR support. Our client services specialist has been a wealth of knowledge and very responsive.
  • The PTO function for requesting time off and the managing and tracking of it has also been a plus. It is fast and easy to use and replaced our prior manual process.

Cons

  • I think the website has room for improvement. I have been using the new beta site (and I understand it is still in beta) but it is not as intuitive as I would like, and I have had trouble finding some of the information that I need to look up (that I could find much easier on the legacy site). In fact, I have returned to the legacy site on a few occasions because I could not find what I was looking for on the beta.
  • Another area that could improve is during company setup. There were a couple of areas where I felt we made some setup decisions where if I had been provided either more information and/or context, I might have made a different setup choice or been better aware of the ramifications. Being a small business we don't always know what we don't know - so to speak.
  • TriNet has enabled us to offer affordable benefits which has helped us in recruiting the best talent.
  • TriNet has helped us with HR processes and compliance and been a great resource when we have questions. They also offer webinars (I have participated in several) which have been very educational and helpful.
  • The TriNet payroll function is very efficient and has reduced my time spent on administrative tasks.
I prefer TriNet's website to Ceridian's (which I used in a prior company). We selected TriNet over Justworks because we wanted the HR support that TriNet provides. We have been very happy with our choice. As a small business, the additional HR services from TriNet has been invaluable.
TriNet has really helped us. It has enabled us to provide affordable benefits to our employees which enhances our ability to compete for the best talent. The payroll function is very efficient. TriNet has also been a great HR resource for us. We are very happy with our business decision to select TriNet.
