Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We have used TriNet across our whole organization as a PEO since the company's inception in 2001. What we see as an advantage is that TriNet offers payroll, benefits, hr support, etc. as a complete package. We don't have to contract a payroll company and then try to find benefits that will work for our people.
  • Supportive of our company through several transitions, growth spurts, as well as downsizing.
  • Provides a comfort level that our payroll will happen on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Provides several levels of support based on questions or needs that allow for answers quickly.
  • We have had a few problems in the area of payroll as it relates to additional deductions such as 401K. It appears to be a timing issue that took a while to resolve.
  • They have limitations on who I can talk to. For example, I would like to sometimes talk directly to a payroll representative for back and forth dialogue, but instead I have to provide details on the issue to my rep and she goes back to payroll.
  • I still have some trouble creating specific reports through passport -- it may be just user error, but it is frustrating.
I feel that 9 is a great rating and I feel that TriNet is doing a really good job for us.
I gave this rating as I know that there are lots of areas within TriNet that Velocys is not taking advantage of. Some may be because of their lack of communication or education and some are due to our failure to explore what else they have.
  • TriNet has definitely had an impact on the time I spend on payroll.
The above companies were able to provide great payroll resources; however, when it came to benefits for our employees, they fell short, and it became our problem to go out and resource this part of our business.
To use an old term, TriNet allows for one-stop shopping for payroll and benefits at very reasonable pricing.
