Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use Trinet for payroll services, compliance, and benefits administration. It's being used across our entire organization. We selected TriNet because we were seeking to offer our employees competitive health benefits. We had been using another payroll provider prior to signing on with TriNet but did not offer benefits at that time.
  • With TriNet, our employees have access to a very wide selection of health care plans.
  • The TriNet team is very responsive when we have questions.
  • The online tools are easy to use.
  • As a nonprofit organization, we have compliance needs that are specific to our sector which TriNet does not address.
  • Our health care plan year starts in October (based on when we signed up with TriNet) making it difficult for employees to switch plans as deductibles and maximums are based on the calendar year.
  • Health care rates have gone up significantly.
  • Monthly fees are more expensive than other PEOs.
Our TriNet representative always responds to us quickly when we have questions and is also available to provide in-depth assistance when needed. The web platform is very easy to use. Some of the newer more customizable reporting tools have made it easier to separate items in our payroll invoices.
TriNet is very user-friendly whether speaking to a representative for looking for answers online.
  • TriNet has helped us retain employees who were looking for robust health benefit options.
  • TriNet's payroll process is very easy and the robust reporting options save us time.
  • TriNet keeps us apprised of legal changes and help us to remain compliant with general employment law.
We evaluated a few products for payroll and for benefits and at the time TriNet was the only one we found which offered a wide range of health care plans. We are considering evaluating other options again to see if there are cost savings or if down the line a product emerges that focuses on nonprofits.
TriNet is well suited to small companies who want to offer their employees lots of benefit choices.
