Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use Trinet to run our payroll, manage our vacation, sick days requests, and approvals. We also use it for our employee handbook.

Pros

  • Great customer service.
  • They have a great team of specialists, depending on the type of questions we have.
  • It's a user-friendly platform.

Cons

  • I have had issues with our annual calendar with the option "to cancel" a date not working well. I could only add a new holiday, not remove it.
  • The Equifax team from Trinet when processing unemployment is not as reachable as the Trinet team; this could be slightly better.
All the people I have had over three years have been more than exceptional. They've all been very talented, they always have answers to my questions, and if not, they always direct me to a person very qualified and expert enough to answer my problems, issues, and questions. It is really a good team. Everyone has some type of expertise.
It is very easy to use and people are always available to help, even when they change the platform, add new features, or add new tools. Over three years, we went through 3 changes, and I was well trained and always offered to get more training on new reportings or anything new to the platform.
  • We can stay within HR compliance.
  • TriNet is very knowledgeable on State law and State HR issues for onboarding, offboarding, and any employment issues.
  • Payroll calculation is easy and clear and reduces time.
  • There's great reporting and a great number of reports available.
I never followed up much and chose Trinet from the beginning. My comparative analysis made me choose Trinet, and I am very happy with it. It fits my company, our size, and the type of services offered are exactly what we are looking for. There was no reason to change. The price could go down a bit, as the price per paycheck is not cheap.
It is a great user-friendly platform for small to medium companies like ours. The platform is well served with lots of tools and reports where we can find a lot of answers to our questions. There are links and side notes to provide a lot of information on a long list of items.

Using TriNet

31 - they reprsent: employees, engineers, managers, HR functions, accountant. Every employee has an account to receive, view their payroll, paychecks, w2s and the 401 plan managed by TransAmerica and the company uses it to manage payroll, vacation, PTO and sick days (requests and approvals), all of our onboarding (forms, I9, W9), offboarding (termination, resignation), employee handbook, all of our safety policies and organization management (managers selection, promotion, raise, annual bonus management) and HR support: the team and knowledge of the team there is extensive

Trinet has been a very good tool for us, being a small company of under 50 employees. We have utilize Trinet a lot and still today as they have the best team and the best customer support.
You can always reach out someone in the team even when your direct advisor is not available.
