Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance

- Reliability of backups; The Backups have been reliable and I have been able to sleep well at night knowing that our systems are well protected with the Unitrends backups.
- Easy Restores both full & granular; I have successfully completed a full system restore and granular file level restores for users. Restores were easy and quick and it worked flawlessly.
- An all in one hardware/software solution & a need for excellent 7x24 support; The Unitrends backup system is a 100% solution which is fully covered (both hardware & software) by support. I have called at different times for support assistance and have been greeted by helpful, supportive and kind support technicians.
- I am very satisfied. The Unitrends backup system is quick and because of this, it has not interfered with our business production times.
- I would like to see a "backup job scheduler/calendar" which displays all the backup jobs listed together in 15 minute increments, so that it is easy to see which backup jobs may conflict.
- I would like to see a Unitrends Archive Unit which is network based, not just SATA. (Although the SATA is very fast).
- I would like the Unitrends Backups/Archives to work with the Amazon "Glacier" cloud storage.
- I would like an easy way to a schedule all the backup jobs' start & completion times and [know] which jobs conflicted.
- I would like to see more training videos of how to configure backups and how to do restores.
- Many of my users have accidentally deleted important files and emails and we easily and quickly, successfully restored the files.
- I was able to successfully recover files from an old server that died.
- This has reduced the amount of IT administration time for maintaining backups and archives.
Unitrends provided both a hardware and software solution that was 100% supported. Unitrends guaranteed that we would not run out of storage space. Reviews of the Unitrends Backup Appliance on Spiceworks were very favorable. When complaints were on Spiceworks, the complaints were quickly, respectfully and publicly addressed by Unitrends representatives. Unitrends sales and technical consultants were glad to answer all my questions prior to the sale and kept their word. The Unitrends configuration was less complicated than many other competing products.
