Overall Satisfaction with UserTesting
Testing the usability of prototypes or new features, assessing the fit of propositions, and assessing the clarity of copy—all these help us ship products that are clear and easy to use. We can make those improvements in designs before we actually build them in code. We mainly focus on the usability side, but it can also be good for assessing the needs of certain customer segments.
Pros
- Unmoderated tests are easy to set up and for users to navigate.
- It has many features to help analyze a lot of feedback quickly. It highlights themes and sentiments and brings scores together.
- It's good for finding users to test with quickly and allows you to set particular criteria.
- It's great for exporting user feedback and highlight reels.
Cons
- Some users that come through do not match the target user profile that I specify.
- Reduced development time because we can test and iterate based on a prototype that's not built-in code.
- Increased conversion rates from more transparent, more compelling positioning of the product to users and their needs.
Improving the quality of products we ship to drive more usage, improving the messaging and positioning to drive more conversions, giving us a better understanding of how people navigate the product and various UX snags.
