Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

I use Vidyard for both cold outreach and warm prospects. In today's fast-paced business environment, I find videos are a great way to quickly give decision makers an overview of what I do and how my services can solve their pain points. It's certainly more desirable and engaging than large blocks of text in an email. I use the premium version, so having access to data and analytics allows me to continually adjust my strategy and determine what's working and what isn't. It's a tool that has helped me close a number of deals.
  • Gives me real time engagement metrics.
  • Tips on how to get the most value out of the platform.
  • Data and analysis for what has worked for others in similar industries/roles.
  • Customer support isn't great.
  • Sometimes notifications don't come through on the Chrome extension and I have to reload it.
  • Have closed at least half a dozen locations due to Vidyard outreach.
  • These sales contribute approx. $6K in monthly recurring revenue.
  • Worth every penny!
I recommended it to someone I met at a networking event yesterday. I believe that video is an incredibly powerful medium for getting information across. There's a lot of noise out there, and cutting through it can be difficult in a sales scenario. Vidyard allows me to differentiate myself from all the other people trying to sell something.

Using Vidyard

3 - The team that uses Vidyard most frequently is the sales team. It helps us to stand out in their inbox by having personalized content that was created just for them. We also use Vidyard internally in order to communicate information without having to schedule a meeting, which is valuable in our sometimes chaotic startup environment.
5 - Given that we'e a small, rapidly growing company, everyone wears a lot of different hats. Our account managers also help with marketing, and our sales team helps with fulfillment when it's needed. That said, I wish we had people dedicated to creating valuable video content using a tool like Vidyard.
  • Sending digital footprint snapshots to prospects in order to get them into our sales funnel
  • Sending video overviews to our contacts to share with people within their organization who were not able to attend a demo
  • Creating training modules for new and existing team members
  • One of sales reps made a video of him pointing up and sends it as a follow up if he didn't get a reply on a proposal
  • Particularly for trainings in order to free up time on the part of the person delivering a training
  • For account management purposes if a client is unable to attend a check in
While I have enjoyed using Vidyard and especially appreciate the data analysis side of things, I no longer have as much time to dedicate to prospecting and send far fewer videos than I once did. I also have found some free tools that offer in app chat (so when a prospect clicks on the video, I get a notification and can chat with them as they're watching).

Vidyard Support

The biggest issues I've had in terms of customer support have come through just using the general inquiry mailbox, where I've had to wait for responses.

Integrating Vidyard

Not totally sure. The integration we wanted to do wasn't available at our subscription level I don't think. I do like the fact that it integrates with my Calendly for scheduling.
