Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

Vidyard is being used as a sales, marketing, and customer success tool. I've created videos to send to prospects to clarify talking points from discovery calls, used pre-built videos in outbound marketing campaigns (social, email, etc.) and as a resource for current customers when onboarding new users whom may need a hand up-skilling themselves in our platform.
  • Overall ease of use via the Chrome extension
  • High quality of both video and sound
  • Landing pages for each video with white-labeling of our company branding
  • Trackability via Gmail integration
  • Stronger overall track-ability (multiple recipients use-case)
  • Adding branding/watermarks to lower level packages (pro user)
The extensions today are very simple. With a few clicks, it's done. Nothing revolutionary about the way they go about integrating. Digital natives should be able to accomplish this with their eyes closed.
I've had most interactions be quick, to the point, and helpful. During COVID-19, however (NOT THEIR FAULT), I had to wait for a few days in late March and another time in early April for responses.
I went with Vidyard not because a deep-dive comparison yielded a win for Vidyard, but rather because of my previous experience and thus easier uptake.
Vidyard is well suited for sales outreach to provide valuable visualizations beyond static images found on decks. It helps separate you from other vendors and is a much more engaging medium for the recipient.

It's also well suited for quick video followup to customers who may have a question that can at times be confusing to convey using text only. Video always seems to cut out any confusion about the perceived reasoning.

It isn't well suited for small teams who need more robust capabilities as the cost becomes prohibitive.
