Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

Used as a MFA solution for users to sign in to their machines when away from the office and also when connecting via WatchGuard VPN to provide a further layer of security with most of the workforce now working from home. Installing an app on the mobile phone for the user is another personal way of providing security for the entire network.
  • Clear process with notifications.
  • Different options to provide authorisation to sign in.
  • Further layer of security for the end user.
  • Installation process via the email sent.
  • Not having to press send push, have an option to automatically send the notification.
  • Clearer management tool via the web.
  • Allowed extra security for signing in.
  • The return on investment to get value from this product is good.
Works well alongside these products.
Not being installed on local hardware and having it stored on the cloud allows for easier management of the product and not for the install of a new VM just for the purpose of this product.
Some users did not like a work application being installed on personal phones but it had to be made clear this was for the security of the company.
Easier to simply have one secure password that can be used across the board.

Signing in to VPN with a further layer of security for signing in.
Scenarios when tool isn't appropriate is when in a meeting or quick engagement with a customer and the need to quickly sign in and access resources on the machine.

Removing old tokens from the management tool needs to have a clearer explanation of which operating system is installed on the phone.
