Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
We use WatchGuard AuthPoint for multifactor authentication (MFA) of VPN service. It has been implemented at several of our customers, and having particularly liked it, we decided to use it internally as well to ensure the security of our remotely connected employees
- Multi factor authentication
- Push notification
- OTP generation
- Better compatiblity with other VPN clients (es. OpenVPN) for alla MFA types, not only with push notifications
- Enhanced security
- Affordable authentication process
- Compatible with almost all mobile devices
WatchGuard offers similar performance to other authenticators but allows greater customization of the service and integrates with cybersecurity systems
The absence of hardware requirements allows for a very simple implementation and allowed us to use this product even at clients who did not have the ability to place new machines at their datacenter
Activation of the mobile application was completed without difficulty by most employees of the companies we work with, including non-technical users, who usually struggle with technological changes.
The multiple layers of security ensure that the consumers looking for
access are who they claim to be. Even if hackers steal one credential,
they will be forced to verify identities in another manner. Implementing multi-factor authentication can be a key requirement when it comes to complying with certain industry regulations. In addition, you no longer have to create multiple complex passwords for different
applications. Using a secondary authentication with SSO confirms the
consumer identity and removes the risk of losing data due to password
misplacement. This not only saves time but also enhances security.
