Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

Webex App allows our geographically dispersed team to communicate and collaborate on projects. It also allows teams to meet with our customers without the need to travel, reducing our CO2 footprint. The Webex App also allows us to create Teams/Groups for specific workstreams. This function is also leveraged as a way for members of our business to be able to communicate on matters or interests not directly aligned to their everyday jobs. This has been a great place for staff to keep in touch, with the shift to remote working in recent years.

  • Chromecast integration so that Webex can be sent to a normal TV or Monitor, rather than just to WebEx Boards.
  • Having an option to create publically searchable spaces so that a community can be grown around Webex.
  • A Meraki app/bot to push notification to the Webex App.
  • Webex App gave us another option as a collaborative solution.
  • Customers that now use Webex App prefer it over their previous solution (often a Microsoft solution) due to the ease of use and the ability to integrate.
  • Leveraging the Webex API allows bespoke, quick/real-time notifications of issues allow these to be resolved in less time, reducing the mean to resolution.
  • The move to remote working and the use of the Webex App ensures a happier, more productive workforce. Leveraging Webex App ensures less is wasted traveling to an office location and ensures that staff is well-rested, more comfortable, and in turn, more productive, concentrating on delivering the best service to the organisation and its customers.
Unfortunately, Microsoft Teams seems to be the preferred solution for most organisations due to it being included in the MS Office 365 subscription. However, I believe Webex App is a much more supplier product and offers a better end-user experience. The interface is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. It overs integration with third parties such as MS Teams, meaning you can still collaborate efficiently.
It's a fantastic product, but nothing is perfect, and there's always room for improvement, hence the 9/10. The integrations, the application available from the application itself, and API make this a well-supported solution for any organisation. Cisco also allows you to raise support cases specifically for Webex App (subject to support contracts, I presume), ensuring that these go to the correct team after opening the case.

Very easy to use, and I would highly recommend Webex to any organisation of any size.
Webex App is suited to any organisation that requires instant messaging, voice and video calling. The application offers a user-friendly interface that allows teams to collaborate with ease. With the long term move to remote or hybrid working, Webex App has become an invaluable tool to any organisation. When used with the conference room solutions, it becomes even more powerful, allowing onsite/in-office users to leverage the Webex conferencing room equipment and the remote users to use Webex App. This allows for a more immersive collaborative environment for all.
