Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
WebEx is a replacement for a legacy Microsoft Live Meeting (and now Skype for Business) install. It is used across the entire organization and corporation. It solves the performance issues we have with our vendors and partners solutions (Zoom, BlueJeans, etc.).
- Latest client update caused some issue on where attendee list is located and how the new icon overlay works.
- Cost is high compared to some Internet startups.
- Skype for Business has an integration advantage since it is now owned by Microsoft.
- It had a better ROI when we were Cisco direct and had in excess of 130,000 users
- Collaboration almost always yields a better business outcome.
- With only 32,000 employees now it is harder to justify costs since we also own Skype for Business as part of O365.
Skype for Business and WebEx are close but WebEx has better multi-platform support. WebEx has superior quality audio and video than Zoom or BlueJeans. Zoom and BlueJeans both have terrible clients and the install procedure is also hit or miss.
