WebPT is a great solution for private PT practices
Overall Satisfaction with WebPT
We used WebPT for 10 years as our EMR provider with 5 of those years having a billing integration with them also. We transitioned EMR and PM providers a in February 2024.
Pros
- easy to use EMR specific to our rehab industry
- on top of regulatory compliance issues
- integrated billing and RCM solution
Cons
- support - one of the main reasons we left WebPT was because of the unacceptable levels of customer support
- an admin portal where we can see and update our account easily
- re-training - it would be great if there was more of a directed push from WebPT to keep members up to date on best use of their software and integrations
- accounting services - we frequently get emails that say our payment is late, yet we are on an auto pay system
- ultimately the initial gains we had with them went away and our overall administrative productivity was significantly impacted by their system
- WebPT frequently crashed and would take hours if not a full day to come back online affecting the entire operations of our clinic
In 2013, we selected WebPT from Athena, Clinicient, Epic and mainly because of the industry specific knowledge and ease of use. In 2023, we began vetting other options and went with Prompt - which has helped us tremendously!
