Overall Satisfaction with WordPress
We are currently using WordPress to host our corporate blog and website. It is primarily used by the marketing department to push out and update content. It helps us host our content all in one centralized location while also creating a pipeline of content to be pushed out across different content pillars.
Pros
- Easy to navigate
- Easy to push out new content
- Easy to have multiple users on the platform at the same time
- One-stop shop
Cons
- There are lots of features, so you need to familiarize yourself with where everything is.
- Provide more info on what each section means (particularly the meta description/SEO sections).
- You can track traffic coming from the blog directly to sales.
- You can track the amount of new content you've generated from WordPress to your website..
- You can track the amount of clicks each piece of content generates.
- See what type of content resonates with your viewers.
We've only used WordPress--haven't needed to evaluate another platform.
