Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Workday is being used across our entire organization [as far as I'm aware]. The main problems it solves is tracking hours worked (being hourly), compensation, paystubs, requested time off, and personal information for HR purposes. This then integrates into other applications to track our org chart, commission pay, and contact information.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Fairly intuitive UI.
Easy to make changes to one's profile.

Cons

Ability to auto-populate set hours (if you work the same hours weekly).

Usability

Simple HR tasks are easy to complete (ex, hours, booking time off). It has a clean UI, but not sure we're using the full functionality as only certain tiles are shown.

Alternatives Considered

ADP Enterprise eTIME, ADP GlobalView HCM and Zoho People

Workday is the only platform I've used at the last 3 companies I've worked at. While they've evaluated other platforms, Workday was always the solution they stuck with.

Workday is a great enterprise application. It's easy to use to logging hours, requesting time off, and tracking one's pay.

When it comes to the cost of the solution, it may be better suited for MM & Enterprise clients vs SMB clients.
